GO REMOTE
Unlocking the potential of remote job opportunities!
FULL PROJECT NAME: GO REMOTE: Unlocking the potential of remote job opportunities!
DURATION: 30.11.2021. – 31.01.2024.
PROJECT VALUE: 196.769,20€
DESCRIPTIONČ
During 2020, Covid-19 affected working life around the world in two significant ways:
1) unemployment, especially among young people, has risen sharply
2) remote work is becoming the “new normal”
Usually, rapid changes worsen inequality, but with this project we want to contrast negative effects (unemployment) with positive ones (teleworking) and develop a new approach to youth employment in rural areas, and also help with the employment of young mothers (25-29) through telework.
Therefore, the main goal of this project is to increase the quality and number of remote work opportunities, making remote work available not only to the upper class, but also to those who need it most – young people who come from less developed areas, facing demographic, social and economic obstacles.
The project will contribute to sustainable and quality employment of young people across Europe, encouraging equal development and social inclusion of the less fortunate and strengthening relations between the donor countries (Iceland and Norway) and other countries by sharing expertise, exchanging best practices and creating future cooperation even beyond this project.
The project is implemented in cooperation with partners from Latvia, Bulgaria and Cyprus as project beneficiaries.
